Streaking Dodgers Didn’t Need to Rest
The Dodger four-game winning streak and six-game home win streak was broken Sunday by the Padres and by Dodger Manager Jim Tracy.
I understand when Tracy rests players once in a while, but to sit down four of the regulars in the middle of a winning streak is unheard of. The 48,000 fans should have asked for their money back. If Tracy continues this pattern, fans will be calling the stadium to see who is in the starting lineup before they come to the game and the Dodgers will have plenty of time to rest during the playoffs.

I am sure the Dodger front office got real confused in the off-season, and simply got rid of the wrong Terry. How else can you explain the presence of Terry Mulholland on the roster, and the departure of Terry Adams? He couldn’t get anyone out last year. What misguided evaluation process returns him to the mound this year?
Let’s see now, seven innings, and seven home runs surrendered. It’s as scary and weird as a David Lynch movie. His new moniker should be “Blue Velvet.”
