Young Man Shot, Killed; Dogs Used in Manhunt

A man believed to be in his early 20s was fatally shot in the 31000 block of Via Belardes on Saturday evening, authorities said.
Orange County sheriff’s deputies discovered the unidentified man about 7:21 p.m. as they responded to a report of gunshots fired near Paseo Carolina and Del Obispo Street, said Sheriff’s Lt. Greg Russell.
Neighbors heard four gunshots, Russell said, and the victim was struck by more than one bullet.
Deputies used bloodhounds to search the area late Saturday for a gunman seen fleeing on foot.
