Jail Terms for 3 Men Tied to Guerrilla Group

An Italian court convicted three Tunisians suspected of having links to an Islamic guerrilla group and sentenced them to between four and six years in jail.
Mehdi Kammun, Jelossi Riadh and Ben Soltani were found guilty of unspecified criminal activities and trading in false documents.
Judicial sources said the men were members of the Algerian-based Armed Islamic Group, or GIA.
A U.S. intelligence official said the GIA has Al Qaeda links.
