Doubleheader to Decide Two Titles

The Southern Section baseball championship games begin with a doubleheader today at Blair Field in Long Beach.
Santa Maria St. Joseph (19-10) meets San Pedro Mary Star (23-6) at 7:30 p.m. for the Division V title. At 4:30 p.m., Simi Valley Grace Brethren (15-7) plays Ojai Thacher (18-3) for the Division VI title. The Divisions I-IV games are Saturday at Edison Field.
