A new statewide pilot program will make affordable mortgage loans available to the disabled or those who have family members with disabilities living with them.
California HomeChoice, created by Fannie Mae, is making $6 million available to qualified eligible borrowers.
Down payments as low as $500 will be available, and borrowers can obtain a 30-year first home loan with a 4.5% interest rate, using California Housing Finance Agency funds.
For information about California HomeChoice, call (888) 346-9700, or call Fannie Mae’s Consumer Resource Center at (800) 732-6643, between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m.
