A day after the government warned that the execution of a Pakistani may result in attacks against Americans, the condemned man said he does not support retaliation by Muslims.
“I’m against attacks on civilian Americans. They are not responsible for my execution,” Aimal Khan Kasi told Associated Press from death row in Waverly.
Kasi killed CIA workers Frank Darling, 28, and Lansing Bennett, 66, near CIA headquarters in McLean, Va., in 1993. He is to be executed Thursday.
