Loyola Marymount (2-0) vs. Villanova (1-1) at Alaska Anchorage, 6:30 p.m., KXLU-FM (88.9)--Both teams have relied on touted recruiting classes entering this first-round game in the Great Alaska Shootout. Loyola received contributions from five freshmen, most notably guards Brandon Worthy and Wes Wardrop, in victories over Loyola Chicago and Sacramento State. Villanova’s leading scorers are freshmen guards Allan Ray and Randy Foye, averaging 15.5 and 14.5 points, respectively. The Wildcats defeated Drexel after losing their opener to No. 13 Marquette.
