Kinetic Sculpture Race to Benefit Mentally Ill

The fifth annual Southern California Kinetic Sculpture Race will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Schooner and Anchors Way drives at Ventura Harbor.
The event benefits the Turning Point Foundation, a nonprofit group that provides housing, rehabilitation, recovery and support services to adults disabled by mental illness.
Entry fees for the pilot and crew are $35 each. Admission is free to the public.
