Glenborough Acquires Complex in La Jolla

Glenborough Realty Trust Inc. paid $75 million for an office building and restaurant complex in La Jolla to add to its office properties in Southern California.
The property, known as the Aventine, is in San Diego’s University Towne Center financial district. It includes a 217,000-square-foot office building and a 23,000-square-foot restaurant complex, Glenborough said last week.
New York Life Insurance Co. and American Express Co. are among the tenants, the San Mateo-based real estate investment trust said.
