An overturned propane truck caused both north and southbound lanes of the Costa Mesa Freeway in Tustin to be closed Thursday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The northbound truck flipped at about 9:18 p.m. and began leaking propane, said CHP Officer David Ferrer.
The driver wasn’t seriously hurt.
The freeway was closed just south of the Santa Ana Freeway and just north of Edinger Avenue.
Police estimated the freeway would be closed three hours.
