Not a miniseries

I found Howard Rosenberg’s March 28 column offensively tongue-in-cheek (“Wars Should End Like Miniseries: Quick, Tidy”). It is the worst the media has dished out on the war. Reducing pain, death and misery into a miniseries, even in jest, is sick.
I guess the sickest joke of all is that, to many Americans, this is all the war really amounts to in their own lives, far removed from the misery, terror and daily death that this war has brought to the Middle East.
