Fund-Raising Walk to Benefit Food Bank

The 11th annual Hike Against Hunger fund-raiser will begin at 7:30 a.m. April 12 at San Buenaventura State Beach Park.
Organizers hope to raise more than $50,000 for Food Share, a food bank serving Ventura County for the last 25 years.
Registration on the day of the event is $20 for adults and $15 for students and senior citizens, with a discount for early registration and teams. Walkers can choose two-, five-, or 10-mile walks.
The event includes entertainment, prizes and food.
