Galaxy Plays Necaxa in Series’ First Game

The Galaxy plays host to Necaxa of the Mexican league in the first game of a CONCACAF Champions Cup quarterfinal home-and-home series tonight at 7 at Cal State Fullerton.
The second game is April 16 at Mexico City.
The Galaxy reached the quarterfinals by defeating CD Motagua of Honduras, 2-2 and 1-0, in a two-game series.
Defender Alexi Lalas got the series-clinching goal on a 72nd-minute header in the March 23 game at Fullerton.
Necaxa advanced by beating Arnett Gardens FC of Jamaica, 0-0 and 1-0.
