Anti-Abortion Activists Admit Harboring Killer

Two anti-abortion activists admitted that they tried to give money and refuge to a man who was later convicted of killing a suburban Buffalo doctor who performed abortions.
The married couple, Dennis Malvasi, 53, and Loretta Marra, 39, pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiring to harbor James Kopp before the fugitive was captured and convicted of murdering Dr. Barnett Slepian in 1998.
Malvasi and Marra face as many as five years in prison at sentencing July 11.
