Recital postponed: Soprano Hei-Kyung Hong has postponed her Jan. 17 Los Angeles Opera recital at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion until June 5 in order to sing Liu in Puccini’s “Turandot” at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Italy. Hong sang the role of the self-sacrificing Liu for L.A. Opera in May 2002. Tickets for the Jan. 17 recital will be valid for the June date.
