LAPD Move Could Cost Tens of Millions

The City Council’s top analyst warned that it could cost $20 million to $30 million to temporarily relocate LAPD headquarters, if officials move ahead with plans to tear down and rebuild Parker Center. Chief Legislative Analyst Ron Deaton said a complex web of telecommunication equipment would have to be moved.
