Sometimes the food is beside the point. Katana’s sexy outdoor terrace and Mad Max-meets-Zen master decor draw a terminally trendy crowd on Sunset Boulevard. Expect the usual “models” and “actresses” with cell-phone-hugging “agents” in tow, and anyone who voraciously pores over fashion magazines. It’s good fun, though, and everybody gets an enthusiastic cheer of welcome, sushi-bar style. The noise level is deafening and the drinks are potent, but, hey, it’s happening.
