Computer Employees’ Donations Assist Schools

Employees at eMachines, an Irvine computer company, have donated $50,000 in cash and products to educational charities and public schools in Orange and Los Angeles counties.
Most of the money purchased 40 computers for campuses in Carson, Los Angeles and Compton as well as the Irvine Unified School District. About $20,000 will fund grants for Orange County teachers.
