Walt Disney Co. expanded its online game business by starting a website with titles tailored for adults.
The site, at www.disneysgamecafe.com, will feature 20 downloadable games aimed at adults ages 25 to 45, the Burbank-based company said.
Disney, which plans to double its video game spending to $100 million in fiscal 2006, will feature games including “Cubis Gold 2” and “Diner Dash” on the site. Chief Executive Robert Iger has made at least four acquisitions this year in the video game industry, including last month’s purchase of European publisher Living Mobile.
