Terrorism Suspect Says He Was Merely Curious

A French-Algerian accused of being a computer wizard for a group suspected of plotting to blow up the U.S. Embassy in Paris said he had texts by Osama bin Laden deputy Ayman Zawahiri and other radicals on his computer because he was curious.
Kamel Daoudi is on trial with five other men suspected of links to Bin Laden.
The suspected group leader, Djamel Beghal, told the court a day earlier that he had no links to extremist groups.
