Motorist Killed on Pomona Freeway

A 38-year-old Chino man was killed Saturday when his vehicle hit the center divider of the Pomona Freeway, then was struck by another car, authorities said.
Jose Ramos-Medina was ejected from his vehicle in the Diamond Bar area after the second crash and died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. A preliminary investigation found that he was not wearing a seat belt.
The other driver, a 50-year-old man, was hospitalized for moderate injuries, the CHP said.
