Grenade Wasn’t Thrown During Bush’s Speech

Gela Bezhuashvili, secretary of Georgia’s National Security Council, said an inactive Soviet-era grenade was found 100 feet from where President Bush made a speech in Tbilisi and was not thrown during the appearance as reported Tuesday.
Bush wasn’t aware of the grenade report until Secret Service agents on his plane told him, Press Secretary Scott McClellan said. They never believed the president was in danger, he said.
