Bruce Lee will tower once again

Hong Kong will host a weeklong Bruce Lee festival next month featuring films, a fan gathering and tours of Lee-related sites, to mark the unveiling of a statue of the martial arts movie legend by Chinese sculptor Cao Chongen, organizers said Monday.
The late Lee’s brother, Robert Lee, will preside over the official unveiling of the 6-foot-6-inch-tall statue on the Avenue of Stars -- Hong Kong’s equivalent to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame -- on Nov. 27, said Wong Yiu-keung, chairman of the Hong Kong-based Bruce Lee Club.
Lee fans also will have a chance to discuss him at a gathering in Hong Kong the same day, which would have been Lee’s 65th birthday, Wong said.
The festival, Nov. 25 through Dec. 1, backed by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, includes a tour of Lee’s home and schools.
