Irvine loses big lead and game

DES MOINES — Klayton Korver had 20 points and seven rebounds, and Drake overcame an 18-point deficit in the second half Tuesday, beating UC Irvine, 76-73.
Ajay Calvin added 16 points and nine rebounds, and Nick Grant scored 14 for Drake (6-2), which went on a 19-4 run late in the second half to secure a win.
UC Irvine (3-6) was led by Adam Templeton, who had 19 points, including five three-point baskets, and six rebounds. Michael Hunter added 13 points.
