One man was killed and four people were wounded late Monday in a drive-by shooting on West 8th Street in Koreatown, police said.
Los Angeles police said a dark car with tinted windows passed by, then pulled up to the victims in the 3300 block about 10:15 p.m. and occupants opened fire. All the victims were Latinos, and one of the wounded was a woman. The wounded were taken to hospitals and were described as in critical but stable condition late Monday, a Police Department spokesman said.
No one had been arrested late Monday.
