A very public wedding procession

I am the bride of the cruiser parade that Ben Brazil wrote about in his Colorado story [“In Durango, Don’t Worry, Be Funky,” Western Travel, May 21].
My aunt and uncle live in L.A. and were here for our wedding, and when they read the article they knew it must have been about our wedding parade.
Thank you for the great article covering our town, which we love dearly. Brazil really hit the mark.
It was the most incredible day of our lives. You know you live in a wonderful place when you can slow traffic and take up most of Main Avenue with a wedding party cruiser parade and not get one poor remark or finger gesture directed at you.
Thanks for the fantastic story.
