Hollywood Reporter Appoints Editor

From a Times Staff Writer
The Hollywood Reporter trade paper named Cynthia Littleton as its editor.
Littleton succeeds Howard Burns, who was named editorial director of the publication, which is owned by Dutch media company VNU.
Littleton joined the Reporter in 1999 as broadcast television editor, having worked at Daily Variety and Broadcasting & Cable.
In a related move, Matthew King was named group vice president of content and audience for VNU Business Media’s film and performing arts group.
