Just in time for Halloween, “Halloween” is returning.
The low-budget thriller from director John Carpenter became something of a phenomenon when it was released in 1978 and spawned a spate of sequels. Now it’s getting a special two-day theatrical release nationwide on Oct. 30 and 31, including theaters in La Habra, Long Beach, Alhambra, Irvine, Aliso Viejo, Simi Valley and Riverside.
