Moral meltdown

Re “ ‘Death’ of a movie,” editorial, Oct. 16
I do not doubt that if “Death of a President” were released using President Clinton’s name during his term of office, it would have been condemned by the media and Democrats alike. There have been any number of movies released with fictitious presidents involved in scandal, death threats and other plots. To make a movie targeting a sitting president, and not see the difference, is proof of a total moral meltdown. Shame on director Gabriel Range, the airheads who applaud his morally bankrupt behavior by giving him awards for it and anyone else who is so filled with hatred of President Bush that they justify a movie that targets the president for murder.
