Keys to ‘Sopranos’

WHEN I read Paul Brownfield’s description of the HBO series “The Sopranos” as “a bitter comedy about family, the clash of the old world and the new,” I almost croaked [“Jump Back In,” April 3]. Get real. “The Sopranos” is about two things: saying the F word and violence. If you doubt it, try to imagine an episode with no violence and no use of the F word. The ratings would plummet like a falling rock.
