After reading the comments from Paul Dempsey in the letters of Dec. 1, suggesting that he had received no communication from the Kings organization when he decided not to renew his seats after 17 years as a season-ticket holder, I felt compelled to personally respond. Despite his comments to the contrary, Mr. Dempsey’s decision to end a 17-year partnership with us was never taken lightly and our correspondence with him was extensive -- as it should have been.
Kings fans deserve nothing less than first-class customer service, and our staff works tirelessly to fulfill that responsibility through quality communication and a willingness to consider any and all options to satisfy our customers. My door remains open to Mr. Dempsey to discuss any thoughts or concerns he may have regarding his experience with the L.A. Kings.
