Park rapist is sentenced in 6-year assault spree

A man who terrorized couples in Orange County parks over a six-year period by raping women and robbing their male companions was sentenced to 103 years, 8 months to life in prison, authorities said Monday.
The sentence virtually guarantees that Francisco Hernandez, 38, will never be released.
He was convicted of 69 counts of rape, kidnapping, robbery and assault against 23 victims from 1997 to 2003.
