A wallet and other items belonging to an Orange County woman reported missing last week were found Saturday on a walking trail in Whittier, an Orange County sheriff’s official said.
Amber Lee Hill’s possessions were found by a hiker on a trail off Colima Road in Whittier, Lt. Hayward Miller said. Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies searched the area but found no additional clues, Miller said.
Hill, 38, of Stanton, was seen leaving her job at the Coca-Cola bottling plant in Downey early Tuesday. Her dark-blue 2001 Dodge Stratus remains missing. It has tinted windows, black hubcaps and damage to the hood and driver’s side. Its California license plate is 4SFE756.
