Re “Health proposal gives and takes,” Jan. 25
Perhaps now the Bush administration can stop crowing about its ongoing support of tax relief and stop vilifying the Democrats for their perceived desire to increase taxes. At the same time, it should be noted that the president’s health-tax “brainstorm” is nothing new. The government already taxes health insurance benefits for same-sex domestic partnership coverage. Gee, now everyone can be treated as second-class citizens.
