Funds OKd to aid clarity in writing by employees

LOS ANGELES COUNTY
Supervisors on Tuesday approved spending $209,000 on a computer program to help county employees write more clearly.
Part of a “Plain Language Initiative,” the money will buy 2,000 copies of electronic editing software to help make county documents, brochures and other communications easier to understand.
