* Watch for: Freshman forward Ryan Anderson, Cal’s leading scorer, has been the highlight of an injury-marred season for the Golden Bears, who have lost 10 of their last 12 games and lost to last-place Arizona State in their final regular-season game. Oregon State has lost 15 of its last 18 but lost to Cal by only three points at home and by four in overtime at Berkeley.

* Watch for: Spencer Hawes, Washington’s 7-foot freshman center, is finishing strong after being slowed earlier by a sprained ankle and a stomach virus that caused him to lose 20 pounds. He is one of four underclassmen in the starting lineup, and the young Huskies’ problem has been obvious: They’re 17-2 at home; 1-10 on the road. Arizona State lost its first 14 Pac-10 games before winning two of its last four, over USC and Cal.
