County health officials will hold a public meeting Oct. 10 to discuss plans for reopening Martin Luther King Jr.-Harbor Hospital in Willowbrook, which closed in August after failing to meet federal standards for patient care.
The meeting will include a presentation by John Cochran, chief deputy director for the county Department of Health Services, and Gary Frazier, an associate with the Hammes Group, a consultant hired by the county to find a private entity to run the hospital.
The community forum, including a question and answer session, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the hospital’s Claude Hudson Auditorium, 12021 S. Wilmington Ave.
