Police were looking Sunday for the drivers of two vehicles who hit a female bicyclist, dragged her down the street to her death and then fled the scene.
Richmond police Officer Ramon Middleton said 49-year-old Laura Casey was riding her bike about 6 p.m. Saturday when a white, four-door sedan rear-ended her, knocking her down.
Witnesses told police that Casey screamed for help for about 30 seconds before being struck by a second vehicle, which dragged her 25 feet, then drove away. Police had no information about the second vehicle.
