Paris in L.A.

RE Richard Cromelin’s review of the New Year’s Eve show at Walt Disney Concert Hall [“Paris Songs, L.A. Style,” Jan. 2]: You’ve got to be kidding.
Belinda Carlisle and Rufus Wainwright’s performance was an amateurish joke, as were the production values overall. In the restrooms and lobby afterward, we overheard many other patrons complaining that this was the worst performance they had seen anywhere, the equivalent of a high school production.
Your review was far too kind and highly misleading.
