Fresh cop drama deserves a life

Thank you so much for an excellent piece highlighting “Life” [“ ‘Life’ Support From the Network,” by Maria Elena Fernandez, Nov. 16]. As an avid watcher, I talk it up to friends and look forward to the weekly episodes. However, I am doubting its ability to succeed when even I as a fan of the show have a difficult time locating it as it jumps from Mondays to Fridays to Wednesdays and at different time slots. How is a show supposed to find its audience with tactics like these?
Damien Lewis is superb as the lead, and its quirkiness only adds to the likability factor.
I’m happy to hear that NBC has ordered a full season of shows, and I can only hope that your front-page Calendar article draws more interest and, in turn, an audience, so this well-deserving show can survive.
