Search crews on Tuesday afternoon found a woman who had been missing since a weekend spat with her husband, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
Rescuers found Sira Lee, 61, in the Tijeras Creek bed about 4:45 p.m. Lee, who was taken to Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, suffered broken bones but was expected to recover, according to sheriff’s spokesman Jim Amormino.
Crews searched for Lee by helicopter, horseback and bicycle when her husband reported her missing after they had a disagreement on Saturday and she headed into the wilderness for a hike, Amormino said.
