LeBlanc gets 8th shutout

Sol goalkeeper Karina LeBlanc and Sky Blue FC goalkeeper Jenni Branam each made three saves on a rainy afternoon as the teams played to a 0-0 tie in a Women’s Professional Soccer game Saturday at Piscataway, N.J.

The Sol improved its record to 7-1-4 and is now 2-0-1 against Sky Blue this season.

For LeBlanc, it was her league-best eighth shutout, three of which have come against Sky Blue.

Sky Blue, which fell to 2-5-3 overall, outshot the Sol, 7-2, in the second half.
