T.R. Knight, who announced his departure from “Grey’s Anatomy” last week, will star in a revival of the 1998 musical “Parade” at the Mark Taper Forum in downtown L.A. Previews start Sept. 24.
Knight will portray Leo Frank in the production, which features a book by Alfred Uhry (“Driving Miss Daisy”) and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown (“13”). Tony winner Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph the show, which tells the true story of the arrest, conviction and lynching of Frank in Atlanta in 1915.
