Southern California Turkey Trots are off and running

The popular Dana Point Turkey Trot returns this Thanksgiving Day. Today’s expected turnout of 10,000 will run 5K and 10K races to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Participants include Dawn Harper, a U.S. gold medalist in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, and Torri Edwards, a winner of the bronze in the 400-meter relay at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
