French film director Louis Leterrier of “The Transporter” fame has purchased a home in the Hollywood Hills for $3.37 million.
The gated home, a Spanish Colonial Revival built in 1927, features delicate windows, beamed ceilings, French doors and planed white oak flooring. A circular, two-story entry has a curving wrought-iron staircase.
The 3,650 square feet of living space includes a formal dining room, an office, an updated kitchen, four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. In the living room, a floating balcony overlooks a large picture window and fireplace.
Outdoors, a dining terrace and sitting area enjoy panoramic views of downtown L.A.
Leterrier, 41, directed the first two installments of the “Transporter” (2002, 2005) film series starring Jason Statham. His directing credits also include “The Incredible Hulk” (2008), “Clash of the Titans” (2010) and “Now You See Me” (2013).
J.R. Davidson of Keller Williams Larchmont was the listing agent. Karen Juarez of Deasy Penner & Partners represented Leterrier in the sale, which closed in early August.
