MOCA announces 2015-16 exhibition schedule

The Museum of Contemporary Art, after no major exhibitions since a “Mike Kelley” show in March, has finally announced a 2015-16 programming schedule. Highlights include a Matthew Barney show at the Geffen Contemporary next fall, coming to L.A. from the Museum of Old and New Art in Tasmania, and an Elaine Sturtevant show coming to Los Angeles in the Spring from New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
Additional shows are in the works for the Geffen Contemporary and MOCA Pacific Design Center.
Here’s the lineup, as of now, with exhibition run dates.

*The Los Angeles premiere of Barney’s River of Fundament will be screened in advance of the exhibition at Royce Hall presented by Center for the Art of Performance at UCLA on April 25.
