During Porter’s tenure at OMGPOP, the company released the popular mobile game Draw Something. The firm was acquired by social game company Zynga for more than $180 million in spring 2012.
Following the acquisition, Porter served as the general manager of Zynga’s New York office. He departed the publicly traded company in April.
Previously, Porter served as senior vice president of corporate development for Virgin Group Ltd., billionaire Richard Branson’s conglomerate.
