Editor’s pick: Venice Art Crawl

The beach community long noted for its free-spirited creative eclecticism welcomes one and all to explore the work of local artists at the monthly Venice Art Crawl. Every third Thursday more than 20 venues — both dedicated art galleries and unconventional or pop-up exhibition spaces (among them: Hotel Erwin, Danny’s Venice Deli, James Beach Restaurant, Santino’s, El Bordello Alexandra and the Canal Club) — open their doors for a celebratory evening of art, music, performances, shopping and food. 6 -10 p.m. Thu.
