Paul Simon and Sting will tour together in 2014, not just as touring partners but as onstage collaborators in a show that will make a stop at the renovated Forum in Inglewood on Feb. 15.
An announcement from Live Nation Global Touring, which is promoting the tour, promised in an announcement Tuesday that Simon and Sting would play individual sets with their bands during the On Stage Together tour, which is set to start Feb. 8 in Houston and is slated to run through March 16 in Orlando, and join one another to play together.
“As individual artists, Paul and Sting have had a diverse and unique history, and I suspect the challenge for both of these prolific songwriters will indeed be narrowing down the song choices.” Arthur Fogel, Live Nation’s chairman of global music and president of global touring, said in a statement.
