Puddle of Mudd frontman Wes Scantlin was arrested in Denver on suspicion of trespassing after he allegedly attempted to ride the baggage carousel at Denver International Airport, according to police.
In addition, Scantlin allegedly accessed a restricted area at the airport, police said.
Scantlin was arrested last Friday after he allegedly ran behind the carousel and came out through an alarmed door in a restricted area, police said.
The singer’s motive is unclear.
The band -- which has had commercial success and sold millions of records -- was in Denver for a show, according to promoter Rock Panther Presents.
Scantlin was bailed out of jail by a fan, according to the promoter.
The band played the show, but started late.
Scantlin thanked Denver fans for their patience on the band’s official Facebook page.
